Philosophy

Animals are unique and dignified creatures , each with an individual learning process. Getting AquaintedAnimals are important in our lives as they often assume the role of our teachers. They are loyal, patient, forgiving and honest. They deserve to be treated with respect and understanding rather than dominance and force. Loving relationships with animals make us better humans!

TTouch® for Behavior

Mouth WorkOftentimes an animal develops behavior challenges and undesirable habits because it holds tension in its body cells caused by stress, fear, or anxiety. The animal is emotionally and mentally unbalanced, which is often reflected in physical imbalance as well. A stressed and tense individual is unable to focus and will not learn well!

With the gentle TTouch® bodywork techniques, consisting of circular movements, strokes, and lifts performed on the skin, tension is released from the body. The animal relaxes and begins to think and act instead of react habitually.

Groundwork exercises can be performed methodically with the animal in the Confidence Course to improve body awareness, focus, patience, obedience, trust, balance, and self confidence.

TTouch® for Wellness

The body is a collection of cells. Each cell knows its perfect function. When an animal is sick or injured the function of the cells in the respective area is compromised.

TTouch® bodywork and body wraps can be utilized as a complimentary modality to Full body wrap veterinary care. The gentle techniques stimulate the nervous system and aide in the process of restoring the cell function. The benefits are reduced swelling, faster wound healing, faster recovery from illness and injury and after surgery, easement of pain, increased mobility, and more.

The concerned animal guardian can use those simple to learn tools and be actively involved in the care for his animal friend, to achieve optimal well being.

Confidence CourseGroundwork exercises are beneficial in physical rehabilitation as well. They produce improved body awareness, fluid movement, and physical balance.

Testimonials

Our 6 year old Maltese, Miss Daisy, suffered from a distressing compulsive behavior - twirling and licking herself - when she was anxious or excited. Annette showed me the combination of TTouches and the body wrap that proved totally successful in stopping the exhausting behavior. Success was so immediate, it seemed like magic!

Annette, WOW! If I had not seen it I would not have believed it. Maggie was really much calmer this weekend. More excepting of just hanging out especially if I would practice my Clouded Leopard movements, and then the storm came and it just was wonderful, she did great. I put the wrap on, did a few minutes of the TTouch and just went on about my business. I took the wrap off about 1/2 hour later did a couple more minutes of TTouch before my 2 nieces came over. She was even much calmer with the kids. It was great! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

We obviously hoped for an improvement in Dewey’s behavior and we feel that has been achieved. We were very unsure what to expect, but we are very happy with the outcome. Dewey seems more confident and he walks much, much better. These are significant improvements given Dewey’s handicap. He is blind.
